Tom Terry of WFTV offers a weather warning to us

Yesterday, while we were shooting new commercials at Channel 9 we ran into WFTV’s Chief  Meteorologist Tom Terry.  After exchanging pleasantries we were struck by an ominous warning he made;

a major hurricane has not hit the continental United States in 5 years, which is unprecedented. He want on to report to us that historically there is always more hurricane activity during the lifting of a La Nina. That appears to be what is happening now.

Our takeaway from the conversation is be concerned and be prepared. Please make sure your backup generators have been tested and serviced, Make certain you have plenty of fuel on have to keep them operational in the event of an outage.
